The website is dedicated to Professor Mr. G. Hanumantha Rao, my mentor and philosopher, Department of Chemical Engineering, Visakhapatnam, Andhra University, South India, who has bestowed me the knowledge of optimization and neural networks which assisted me to enter the major biotech labs/universities in the country in 2006.

The rural technologies initiated by SEVAS in 2006 were developed with the help of knowledge gained from my professors Dr. V. Padmaja (Bioinsecticides) and Dr. G. Subbarangaiah (Spirulina and Biofertilizers) of Andhra University.

I would like to thank sincerely to Prof. C. Bhaskara Sarma, Prof. V.S.R.K. Prasad and Prof. C.V.R. Murthy for permitting me in their lab and there by assisting me every time to learn various advanced topics.

I would also like to thank our brilliant research scholars, my classmates and friends for helping me throughout the foundation of the Society. Moreover I thank my beloved mother and family members for encouraging me in all these aspects.

All services offered by Sevas Society are free of cost for anyone. The Society members can access all types of technologies offered by SEVAS and will have more control over all services.

The International Conference on Algal Technologies and National Conference on Algae Technologies was hosted and organized by the Sevas Educational Society, Andhra Pradesh, India, in collaboration with Rahul Budh Vihar Prabandhak Committee, SofiPind, Jalandhar, Punjab and Department of Biotechnology, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.

These two activies helped Sevas Educational Society to understand the current status of rural technologies in India. After this conference, Sevas Society has developed two technologies for promoting algae research in India.
